Water changes everything-

I saw that video a few months ago and couldn’t get it out of my head, if you haven’t watched it yet- take a few minutes to check it out- the clip is pretty amazing, but the facts are terrifying.

Water  –  It’s something I take for granted every day, and CLEAN water is something I don’t even think about when turn on my taps-I thought I would dedicate this post to our friends at: Much Ministries and Clean Water For Haiti

Much Ministries is the organization we will be spending most of our time at when we visit this winter.  On our last visit to MUCH  we were shown a hand drilled Well that was equipped with a hand pump that produced perfectly clean drinking water for the entire village of Jubilee.  This well was donated by MUCH in 2010, just weeks before the big cholera outbreak-   The entire village was able to receive free health care and water by the mission, and without a doubt, they saved many lives.  This ministry is fully equipped with three Super Nurses, Teachers, Artists, and many other VIP’s who volunteer their time.

Clean Water For Haiti is an organization that creates, delivers, and installs Biosand Filters to people who have contaminated water – check out the videos on their website- its another testament to how vital water is.  I really hope I am able to meet this organization during our stay in Haiti.  This organization is a Registered Canadian and American Charity

– Have you been on a missions trip or currently involved with one?

– Where did it take you, and how is it still affecting you?

  1. I went on a missions trip to Mexico a number of years ago where we were able to give out the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. It was one of the most amazing experiences I had, and I hope that in the future I can go back again and do the same thing. It truly changes your life!
